Before I moved from NH to Idaho, I bought two coffee mugs with my urban paintings on them. They are good quality and I enjoy seeing these old scenes. The scenery in Idaho is very different from New Hampshire and I am still getting used to it. We've been here for a little over two years now and I'm happy we made the move. Sunshine almost every day, very little precipitation, no big ice storms or snow storms and friendly people.

There is never enough time
There is never enough time
We met, you taught
me well,
we shared a little
of our difficult pasts,
a little of our
good lives now,
and you’re gone
too soon.
Still crying from
hearing about the accident
Wondering why you
were at that place
at that moment.
There is no
consolation in our Jewish sayings
Yom Kippur was
just over last month
and I keep hearing
the refrain in my mind
“Who shall live
and who shall die”
But it wasn’t your
time yet
you still had more
to teach me
and the other
students.
I would like to
believe there is
purpose in life
and death
but now I am not
so sure.
Baruch dayan
emet
“Blessed is the
true judge”
I don’t find these
words consoling,
but I will cherish
your memory.
Your life really
was a blessing.
